Tag As FavoriteComment		Introducing my Goth gothic merman and mermaid couple--pale blonde-haired Grey and sable-haired Shadow. She just told him the great news, as evidenced by her softly rounded tummy. They are going to have a little one very soon! Their dream has finally come true after years of anguish! Grey looks to softly nuzzle his lover's neck, as they dream of finally becoming a family. So much detail on this piece--such as the little skulls on her tail, the skull pattern on the grey purple sea shell, and the softly glowing crimson jewels on Grey's tail fin. The colors used like black, greys, taupes, grey purples, rust reds, cinnamon, sable really show up amidst the soft grey purple/lavender background-- lightly accented with silver and bronze metallic acrylics; a red octopus entwines itself on a huge towering black coral tree. Done in ink, watercolor, and a touch of acrylic on thick acid-free Arches watercolor paper

i noticed the sea weed to the right has some suggestive growths on it that look odly like a mans endowment lol i dont know maybe its just my own gutter mind. very clever any way i luv this whole pic.

This painting is so incredibly sweet and tender, yet wonderfully sensual and romantic also. I love how you’ve adapted the lesser-known "Double Tailed Merfolk" of medieval lore and made it unique. So beautiful I think I am going to cry!!! :&rsquo12
