SciFi and Fantasy Art A SUMMER IDYLL by Jade N. Bengco

The Forest Lord Cerrunos or Cernnunos spending a leisurely summer's day--napping! His real home is the fairy realm of Tir Na Nog. He is almost always depicted nude or partially nude--a virile, handsome man with stag antlers protruding from his forehead. It is said that wherever this woodland deity lays down to sleep or rest--grass becomes lusher and greener, flowers burst into bloom and animals gather around him. And maybe, a fairy or two--to keep watch over him and play with the animals. He is after all, the lord of the woodlands, protector of all forest creatures--wether mortal or fae, and the harbringer of the seasons. It's too bad the details are lost due to the size of the image. Done in ink, watercolor, and acrylic on a 12 X 16--140 pound acid-free watercolor paper.

I like this, it’s very well done!And at the risk of adding to the contraversy, I do not see a lot of fully-nude-drawn males on this site as much as females, and though I’m sure that was not the point of this pic, I’m still glad to see you took the risk. I’m also glad it’s not censored. But I really love the nature aspect as well, I think he’s beautiful!

24 Oct 2009	Demigods R us	Loading... the guy in the painting would totally agree with us pigish men that this is porn Ha Ha just kidding i guess you really couldnt call this porn if you say all the nude female pics are art but as guy i think you just drew it in creepy way im okay that you just drew it but the way you did feels weird, and i guess it also has something to do with seeing another guys manhood but dont get me wrong its not porn as long as you dont use it that way girls(hint, hint MermaidBlue you might scare him away) although it is a bit ahem unrealistic shall we say especially compared to the work of the masters even hercules statue was more ahem again realistic
