Tag As FavoriteComment		This is Cerrunos or Cernnunos--either spelling is used. In Celtic myth, he is known as the Forest Lord, Herne, or Stag Lord--also Thorne, and sometimes the GreenMan. Mostly portrayed as a nude, virile man with antlers growing from his forehead--he is also the harbringer of the seasons. I have portrayed him in the twilight of winter and spring wearing his cloak of leaves--making ready to go about and herald the coming season--Spring.
