Tag As FavoriteComment		I've been experimenting with acrylic paints on canvas panels, and here's one of my finished pieces. Kiyoshi is Japanese in origin which means 'quiet or calm one'. An Oriental-themed fantasy--here's my depiction of a quietly contemplating merman under a bower of an exotic undersea vine laden with clusters of 'sea grapes'. There is a red pagoda that looms in the background amidst a shadow play of mysterious blue coral trees. A couple of dragon fish hovers nearby out of curiousity--looking on at the pensive Merman. Acrylic paints on canvas panel.

Ah, another oriental beau!...12 This time a water-dweller. Lovely details of the background, and the dragon fish add a lot to the atmosphere... Yes, he looks calm and contemplative... yet so extremely hot and beautiful. Another of my new favorites. Love the colors.
