This was inspired by one of my favorite Japanese anime/manga characters--I'm sure a lot of you know who I'm refering to. I've modified him in keeping with my vision of how I'd like a vampire hottie to look. He's gorgeous, sexy and immortal--though a human/vampire hybrid himself. A champion of the oppressed, although at times reluctantly--he is quick to come to their aid-- whether he has to do battle with his kind (vampires) or other supernatural beings. I wanted to show shades of black here using ink pens with varying points. For added accent--I gave a bit of color to his face using pencils. A rare piece from me--so different from my usually colorful pieces. As always--the images do not do justice to the actual artwork.
