Tag As FavoriteComment		I love Halloween, and it's never too early to start coming up with a halloween-themed piece in my book! A hunky partially nude male angel with black raven's wings rises amidst the billlowing mists conjured by the huge grinning JOL pumpkin spirit that is looming over him. Garbed in leather pants and black lace with dark eyes, sexy lips and tousled hair--what more can you ask for?! I experimented with this one--the central portion of the painting was sketched on a Canson transparent paper where I tore off some edges for a jagged effect and kept other edges straight--then glued it with acid-free glue onto a thick larger mat board--and proceeded to fill in the wings, the ghostly jack-o-lantern with bold strokes of acrylic paint and ink. The different textures that ensued made this one very interesting painting--very tactile!
