Tag As FavoriteComment		Another mermaid painting--this time a Sea Queen sits on her large shell throne held up by red coral branches. She is flanked by a carved stone statue and a chest full of sunken treasure! Done on 140 pound paper with ink, watercolor, and acrylic.

I love mermaids. Your picture is full of beauty. I didn’t even notice the 2 fins, but that’s kinda cool. The statue of the dude reminds me of The Little Mermaid, where she had a statue of the prince. Maybe this could be Ariel’s mom?

Nice design. I like the two tails. Of course, she isn’t wearing this seasons fashion for mermaids- the Algae-bra1 But the Queen sets her own fashion trends anyhow. At least she isn’t obsessed with shoes like some people I know(Lynn the purple dragoness bounces shoe off big dragon’s head)

I honestly don’t think that she should have a bra on, because first of all, how would they actually make seashell bras that stayed one? Second of all, mermaids are supposed wild and free! They only wear things like pretty necklaces. Third of all, SHE’S queen, so she kind of should overpower the other mermaids in the sense that she has such royal queenly breasts. But great picture, Jadegoblin! Keep doing what you’re doing, and someday, you’re gonna be somebody!
