	Another mermaid painting--this time a Sea Queen sits on her large shell throne held up by red coral branches. She is flanked by a carved stone statue and a chest full of sunken treasure! Done on 140 pound paper with ink, watercolor, and acrylic.

Incredible bust, and the crown detail is simply fantstic. Of course, I cant leave without mentioning the ADORABLE octapi, who kinda steal the show. Adorable!!

11 Apr 2008	Aimee	Loading... I love mermaids. Your picture is full of beauty. I didn’t even notice the 2 fins, but that’s kinda cool. The statue of the dude reminds me of The Little Mermaid, where she had a statue of the prince. Maybe this could be Ariel’s mom?
